Natalie Weinberger is a Brooklyn based studio potter and ceramic designer/artist who works with a range of commercial and creative projects.
Her pottery is about compromising aesthetic and function and making objects feel contemporary.
Her pieces have the stillness of movement, and portraying pottery’s long history, but also feeling current.
A lot of her work have architectural forms, but are also highly functional. They are a result of the exquisite craftsmanship, profound approach and experiment with materials.
In my work, I added a color scheme for all of my bowls. But kept the colors simplistic. My bowls turned out smaller than planned but still are functional.
